In the beautiful Devon countryside, John and Laura Coyte have built three stunning cabins that sit on the many acres of their dairy farm. Completed at the end of the summer of 2022, they tasked me with exterior and interior pictures so they can promote them across social media as well as multiple online websites for lodging and country escapes. This project required me to pull on all my experience with lighting, composition and my understanding of the retail landscape to encapsulate the wonderful design of these cabins to those shopping for a getaway. Each cabin had their own uniqueness that I had to capture so to make sure each one stood out from the others. We even had a little guest model from their angelic and energetic cockapoo, Fred, which helped.

We were fortunate with the lighting in the mornings but the evening was a little bit more challenging. The gold tones at sunrise were perfect for capturing the steam coming off the wood-burning hot tubs, but the clouds came in full force towards the end of the day.

It was a treat to stay in one during our time there, making full use of their stunning design features and the cosy log burners.
