Both Tom and Hannah are lovers of the outdoors, whether running or cycling, so it felt perfect for them to be deep in nature as they tied the knot. The venue was truly enchanting, and the way it had been decorated beautifully complemented that aesthetic.

In terms of the technical side, this wedding was a new challenge for me. Ordinarily, you’re dealing with either light or shade, indoors or outdoors, but here there were constant pockets of light, which made it difficult to regulate exposure. When it came to the couple portraits, I tried to find spots that were fully shaded. Neither Hannah nor Tom wanted to spend much time away from their guests, so we made the most of the timetable and the movement between different parts of the venue, capturing just one or two candid couple shots along the way.

It was an absolute pleasure to be the solo shooter at this charming and unique forest wedding, one I’ll remember for years to come.
